MangalaWiki is a free online encyclopedia on all things related to the works of author Kim Stanley Robinson. It is part of KSR.info.
It is not officially sanctioned by Kim Stanley Robinson or any of his representatives. This is a fan non-profit-oriented effort and no copyright infringement is intended.
MangalaWiki is not limited to the author's most known work the Mars trilogy, even though this work is given a particular, more in-depth treatment in the encyclopedia. MangalaWiki aims to cover everything that KSR has published, including in-universe descriptions, comments on literary techniques and storytelling, and discussion of the themes and ideas presented in his works.
This encyclopedia is meant to serve as a springboard for further analysis and discussion of the themes tackled by KSR's works -- sustainability, politics, humanism. Criticism is not prohibited, only as long as it is respectfully and coherently argumented.
This is a free wiki, any one can edit it. Please be respectful of other people's work and refrain from vandalizing. As fans of KSR's work, we believe that we can work cooperatively and synergistically towards an encyclopedia that is accurate, respectful and intelligent. The themes that are touched upon can be controversial; we believe that if each user keeps in mind theses goals of respectful and intelligent contributions, there can only be a win-win situation.
