Meanwhile\, new satellites or technological objects that we depend on down here on Earth are launched into space all the time\, creating more debris\, risking collision\, and ultimately polluting our orbital commons. Tracking these objects\, preventing their collision\, and charting a course toward a more sustainable space is the work of Moriba Jah\, astrodynamicist\, National Geographic Explorer\, and MacArthur Fellow.
